    This 2011 Sauvignon Blanc is made from 9 separate hand picks of Estate-grown fruit. The grapes were hand-sorted and gently whole-bunch pressed. The natural yeast ferments were kept separate and at cool temperatures. They were then blended and retained on fine lees for 3 months to enhance the texture and complexity of the wine. The nose displays citrus blossom and wild herb characters. The palate perfectly balances flint and wet-stone minerality with flavours of lime and gooseberry. Racy acidity complements the slight retained sweetness to create a classical Te Awanga Sauvignon Blanc we are proud to share with you.
